This area is close to the wharf and the tourist service centre. As one of the regional gateways, the Exotic Fifteen-State Tourist Zone allows visitors to feel the warmth of the South Pacific islands the moment they arrive Emerald Bay.
A wharf plaza has been built in the adjacent wharf area. The centre of the plaza will have a music fountain and a water show stage as well as seats for the audience. A pavement and decoration design unique to the South Pacific will be adopted to better integrate the entire plaza into the local culture. On weekdays, small-scale mobile commercial activities and performances will be organised on the plaza, in major festivals and celebrations, bigger events will be staged in the plaza and on the water show stage.
Fifteen venues will be specially designed by designers from various countries and then built in the zone to showcase the diverse cultures that the venues represent.
In addition, supporting retail outlets, restaurants and budget hotels will be built in the zone so that visitors can experience every aspect of the South Pacific from food, clothing, shelter to transportation.
